Somatic Integration into a Ballet Warmup

Fall of 2019- 2021​

Somatic practices are different methods that integrate the exploration of the mind and body. My research takes ideas from Laban Movement Analysis, Alexander Technique, and yoga to create a full mind/body warm up. For four months twice a week three students participated in my case study and practiced parts of these three methods. My research was presented at the end of the year showings 2021.

Advocating to Minister the Gospel of Jesus Christ

This Fall as part of my dance studies I took part of an advocacy assignment which lead to my discovery for wanting to minister the Gospel. I spent the semester learning ways to share his word through dance and social media.  At the end of the semester I spoke about my research and what I found. I would like to continue sharing the gospel through these platforms. The research was presented at the USF Research Conference (2021).
